It is thought provoking and thoroughly engaging. For those of us who are already part of a word and power church and don't know the history it's a good book to read so we can better understand some of those in our midst who we don't understand and to better understand some of those we may be trying to reach. Some churches focus on the law or the Word of God so much they don't even pay attention to the Holy Spirit while other churches focus so much on the Spirit, or the Spirit experience and not enough on the word.
